Gucci Sevigny vs. Nine West Olavera

Here’s a pretty good version of the famous Gucci Sevigny. The Nine West Olavera sandals come in black or gold patent leather, just like their prototype, with 3 ¾ heel, which is easier on your feet than the Gucci’s 4.1 inch. The horsebit ring buckle detail is still there, but a bit lower than the original. And the price is certainly easier on the wallet at only $93 while the Gucci’s are at $695. Of course, there are those of us who are willing to shell the big bucks for the original, but for the budget minded it’s the Nine West Olavera shoes at zappos.com

I really love the Gucci Sevigny’s…… the nine west version looks like a very cheap imitation. Nine west needs to go back to the drawing board because Im sure they could have come up with something better. When I originally saw it online I thought it was nice but upclose and personal the Olavera has nothing on the Sevigny’s. Its not about price its about quality and the olaveras definitely lack that.

I happen to own the Olavera’s. They are smokin and true they’re an imitation, but their 6 times less than the others. I don’t want the originals that desperately that I’ll pay that much when I can buy 7 pairs of shoes from ninewest and be ultra happy!!!
