Shoe That Fits

According to Fred Allard, the Nine West creative director, color and bold details are all the rage this season. And he should know: being originally from South of France, he attended the Ecole de la Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture design school in Paris, and worked for some renowned European designers. And you can see that clearly from the shoes and accessories in his Hot 9 Report. My favorite are the hot pink Mary Jane sandals which are great for the night out on the town. Making these in patent leather makes the bright color stand out even more! And of course the peep toe to show off the freshly groomed toes. The open toe lace up oxford with strong details, like thick piping and structured heels is an excellent choice for the Indian summer and fall. For the heel challenged, there are the jeweled thong flats with beautiful oversized gems and chains. To complement any look, there’s the bright yellow hobo bag in patent leather with contrasting double straps. Or the gathered clutches in snake print with silver tone hardware.
